I am planning my first visit to Wakedock…

wakedock first visit page

Thanks for stopping by the website. We’re looking forward to getting you out on the water and introducing you to cable wakeboarding! Here’s how to go about your first booking with us – if you have any questions, you can always email us at info@wakedock.ie or call +353 1 664 3883.

Step 1:

If you have never wakeboarded before, you can decide whether you want to book a 15 minute ride pass or the 30 minute first timer tuition. (Are you planning a group session, hen/stag or corporate event? Head over to our group session section for more information). During the dedicated tuition session you will spend plenty of time with our qualified wakeboard instructor who will introduce you to the sport with a land drill before getting you on the board and in the water. This session is not mandatory so you can decide to book the regular 15 minute set for your first time, our staff are there to help you get up and ride either way.

If you already have experience wakeboarding, you just need to decide when you want to book in for a set (see Step 2)

Step 2:

The easiest way to book a ride pass is through our online booking system. Depending on the day of the week and time of day we offer different sessions, have a look at the pricing structure before you decide when to come down. If you are under 18 or a student it’s worth checking out the discounted sessions we offer.

To book a 30 minute first time tuition session, give us a call on +353 1 664 3883 and a member of our team will be happy to help you with your booking.

Don’t forget to have a look at the Terms and Conditions before you make a booking.

Step 3:

Get excited! If you haven’t watched our videos yet, now that you’ve made the booking is the time to check out some wakeboarding in the Dock and get excited for your set.

Step 4:

On the day of your session, pack your swimwear and a towel and make sure to arrive with plenty of time before your confirmed start time – we recommend 30 minutes.

It’s important to be on time so you don’t miss the boat out to the start pontoon. We’d hate to see you miss out on your session but there might be times when we are not able to delay your set or let you go out on the next set (see Terms and Conditions).

Once you are here we will take care of everything, get you kitted out with wetsuit, board, helmet and buoyancy aid in case you don’t have your own equipment (see rental charges) and ensure that you have a great experience with us!

Step 5:

Let us and others know on Tripadvisor, Facebook or Google + what you think of Wakedock. We always love to hear feedback to help us offer the best experience possible! Don’t forget to share with your friends on Facebook or Twitter.
